Okay, this is odd. I have two email address, a Yahoo one for my more important stuff and a gmail one I use more for junk mail, or signing up for free magazines or what have you. My eBay account is under the Yahoo email, but I keep getting someone contact me at my Gmail address about something I bid on. So, I checked the item number and there is someone on eBay using my address and bidding on things. They have a 100% rating, and there are no strange charges on my credit card, so what the hell is going on? I'm shooting an email to eBay in a minute here, but I figure that'll take a while to hear back from them. This ever happen to anyone else?

Probably typoed their email address when giving it to ebay.

Are you sure it's not a phishing scheme? I get a lot of emails about unpaid ebay auctions etc. that I never bid on. Be careful about clicking on any links in the email.

Yeah, I didn't mean to click on the link, I highlighted the the item number in the subject to look it up on eBay and it just opened up. I took it up with eBay and it seems to have stopped, so no worries.
