Wii charging docks
Does anybody here have this product and have an opinion on it?

The reviews on the site itself seem pretty positive, *but* seems like I have to charge via USB which means I have to leave the Wii on while charging.

I got a charger and eight AAs for $20 at Target. That covers my Wii remotes and my Xbox 360 controller for less than either brand-specific solution. I would go that route honestly.. and you can get additional batteries for cheap for other things if you like.

I'll say it before and I'll say it again. Stop buying these chargers that only work on one type of controller. You're wasting your money. The batteries like Pixy said work on everything and hold a charge a long time.

The rechargeable battery packs with dock are great if you have the room. My setup is pretty tight so I just bought some Rayovac Hybrid (like the eneloops). There is a charger that comes with 2 AAs for $10 and there is a rebate coupon for $5 off a purchase of a 5 pack.

Looks good. Any reason you can't hook it up to your computer or the ipod wall charger instead? I "wasted" my money on the nintendo licensed ones. Still completely worth it. I don't like to mess with regargeable batteries with special wall chargers, etc. But to each their own.

I mainly want one of these wiimote chargers because it'll help me keep things nice and neat instead of having the remotes laying around. I was looking at both the Nyko one and the monoprice charger. I think I'm gonna go with the monoprice one because it's cheaper though.
