These weekly threads are for the posting and discussion of that particular week's store exclusives and freebies.

These lists will likely be incomplete until Thursday or so, since DVDs are released on Tuesday and one of us needs to visit all the stores to confirm things.

Volunteers needed: I regularly go to Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, and Walmart; but don't visit the other stores every week. If you work at or regularly go to the FYE/TWEC chains, Costco, Borders, K-mart/Sears, Barnes and Noble, Blockbuster, Hot Topic, or any other store that has DVD exclusives; I'd appreciate any updates you could give us.

Pirates of the Caribbean at World's End - rather large plastic POTC wall clock with purchase I think it had the "animated" version of Jack Sparrow on its face, with the clock itself built into the steering wheel of a ship, cast in brown plastic. Seemed aimed at kids, but certainly worth mentioning.

Hey was at Walmart this morning and saw that they had Superbad, unrated regular edition combined with the soundtrack...I dont think that it was all of the songs but could be mistaken, the price was 19.96.

I think that Target has the best deal so far for the deluxed 2 disc edition.

I went to circuit city to get the super bad blu ray and was told the super bad beanie is only for the regular versions NOT blue ray even though that is what the ad says. oh well there loss ill get it at best buy or target

A friend gave me a copy of the PotC bonus disc from Bestbuy Canada. It was skrink wrapped to the back of the 2 disc set with a blue sticker indicating bonus Bestbuy content.. The single disc edition doesn't appear to have it..

Picked this up yesterday, my copy had a sticker, but no bonus disc. Anyone else have this problem?

Same here. Now I have to go back. Before I bought it, I looked around to be sure that the disc wasn't separate like POTC but didn't see a separate disc anywhere. So, I assumed it was in the package.

Can anyone else confirm where the disc is supposed to be?

The bonus Best Buy disc is in the case - the case is a slim double disc Amaray.

Yeah, I just got back and exchanged for the last copy, you can hear it in there if you shake the case (should have done that yesterday and saved the trip).

Not the one I got. It had the sticker, but only a single disc inside. I returned it and will try a different Best Buy tomorrow. The employees were perplexed, but didn't give me any problems returning the opened disc for a refund.

Transworld offered a Pirates of the Caribbean lithograph (keepcase-sized) with the purchase of the movie.
