I am trying to locate this for my son for his birthday (12/15) and can't seem to locate it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

First off, that's my daughter's birthday too!

Secondly, I had a hell of a time finding that the week after it came out. I had to go to about 5 stores, and ended up getting it at new Target that has only been opened for a month or so. You might try checking at someplace like that. Regardless, I'd recommend going right at 8 AM if you can, several days during the week. I managed to get a Wii a few months ago like that.

Otherwise, EB/Gamespot might still be getting regular shipments.

guitar hero 3 is actually pretty hard to find. the developers expected there would be a shortage of the combo this christmas b/c of high demand. this isn't surprising though, the wireless guitar alone is well worth the price.

Where in Chicagoland are you? My wife is looking for a copy for me today and found one at Game Crazy in the city (we live in Logan Square).

Otherwise the Best Buy in Homewood had some as of earlier today.

Thanks for the help...I found one at Game Crazy in Berwyn, but that's about 70 miles one way for me in the NW suburbs. I did some more calling and found out that Best Buy in Addison just got 91 in today! No one else has received any at all anywhere else in the area. I just got back from Addison...my son will be a happy camper (me too!), thanks again..
