a few Ovation TV questions...

Hi, I have a few questions regarding the channel Ovation TV (channel 274 on DirecTV)
1- Do they have commercials for programs and/or movies?
2- Do they edit their programs/films for content?
3- How is the channel, is it worth watching or is it just drivel?

I'm getting DirecTV soon and am interested in the channel.
Thanks

Comcast dropped this channel within the last year, but my husband and I watched it pretty often. They have a lot of documentaries on music, film, and art. They also showed the Jools Holland show which hasn't been on BBC America in a few years. They do have commercials. Perhaps their web site will give you more detailed information:

Their website is good for finding out the programs they run, but I'm also interested in finding out if they edit their content. I would find it suprising for an art channel to give in to censorship. Plus it's very distracting to hear people say "mothersucker" or have black rectangles placed over evil, evil breasts. A serious movie/program quickly turns into an Austin Powers movie
