Wish I had waited. I could have bought one, then used the $5 off coupon to get the other one. $15 for both movies!

They are $8.99 at Borders and $9.99 at TWEC stores today (or $8.99 for Backstage Pass members). The best part of buying them in store is you can buy one, take the $5 coupon out, then buy the other one. So I got both at Borders for $13 + tax...

Yes, I did. I can't believe I wrote that. I was picturing Kurt Russell say "This car is 100% death proof" while I was writing it too.

Even better than I predicted. I guess they're charging the $1.90 single disc rate instead of the $2.90 2-disc rate.

I owe you guys a thanks. Not only did I get Death Proof for $1.90, but it forced me to check my bank statement.

Upon doing so, I realized that the college I attend has messed up tuition for next semester. I paid via eCheck a couple weeks back with plenty of funds in my account to cover it. I've even got a receipt for my payment. Yet, it looks like no funds were ever taken out of my checking account.

Moreover, I've got a $30 for non-sufficient funds. I'll have to get this straightened out on Monday, but sure glad I found it now. I was under the impression my classes had been paid for.

its a pity that Amazon.com can't reduce the price of PLANET TERROR down to the 9.9x price as they've down with Death Proof (since I've grabbed both at the 13.4x price ! ended up cancelling the Death Proof one and re-ordering it

Note - aussie buyer here - can't use Best Buy or the other stores mentioned

You wouldn't happen to know if it's still that price at Borders tomorrow, would you?

And these are the box set titles:

There aren't too many good deals other than Planet Terror and Death Proof though...

Thanks! I picked up Death Proof on release but never got around to getting Planet Terror. I was wondering when i'd use that 5 dollar coupon. I'll swing by today.

$5 Coupon Wouldn't Work!

Went to FYE today. Planet Terror & Death Proof were still on the shelf marked $9.99 So I first bought Death Proof went outside into the mall opened it to get my $5 coupon out to use on Planet Terror. Went back in and the coupon would not work on Planet Terror. The guy at the counter said they had raised the price back up in the computer but not on the shelf so they had to give it to me for the marked price of $9.99 Buy reducing it from regular price to $9.99 they could not do a second discount (the $5 off coupon) So I bought it anyway using my Backstage Pass card. Though still a good deal it pisses me off alittle because it took them 20 mins. to figure this out, if they even knew what they were talking about.
