Favorite two-song album lead-off... [Part Two]

My all time favorite:

"Baba O-Reilly" followed by "Bargain" on on The Who's "Who's Next".

currently its "Foam (A) The Backtrack" followed by "(B) The Decade of Statues" on Between the Buried and Me's "Colors" album. All time, Black Dog followed by Rock and Roll on Zoso.

Hard to beat Rypro's, but I'll go with Cherub Rock and Quiet from Siamese Dream, followed by Airbag and Paranoid Android from OKC.

Now how in the hell would you get "overprotective" out of my just simply stating that another thread is already in existance? The fact that it just happens to be one I started is coincidental. I would have pointed out a duplicate thread started by anyone else if I would have recognized it.

Thats a hard question. Some of the best albums have lukewarm intros.

Highway To Hell/Girls Got Rythym (AC/DC)

Surrender/OnTop Of The World (Cheap Trick)

Blitzkrieg Bop/Beat On The Brat (Ramones - first LP)

[and just to show that I'm not too ancient]...
Call Of The Zombie/Superbeast/Dragula (Rob Zombie - Hellbilly Deluxe; I included 3 tracks on this one because "Call..." is only an intro...a badass intro, but an intro nonetheless)

for some more "pop" ones I can think of

1999/Little Red Corvette (Prince "1999")
Lucky Star/Borderline (Madonna's debut)
All I Really Want/You Oughta Know (Alanis' "Jagged Little Pill")
Second Hand News/Dreams (Fleetwood Mac's Rumours)

Some of my favorites (which may be hated here) in no certain order:

Nights on Broadway/Jive Talkin' (Bee Gees "Main Course"): Hey...it ushered in the world of disco!

Runnin' With The Devil/Eruption (Van Halen "Van Halen")

Dead & Bloated/Sex Type Thing (Stone Temple Pilots "Core")

Welcome To The Jungle/It's So Easy (Guns N' Roses "Appetite for Destruction")

Rock Rock Till Your Drop/Photograph (Def Leppard "Pyromania")

Voodoo-U/The Crablouse (Lords of Acid "Voodoo-U"

Enter Sandman/Sad But True (Metallica "Metallica aka The Black Album")

Girl You Know It's True/Baby Don't Forget My Number (Milli Vanilli "Girl You Know It's True") - a one two punch (for some people in the balls)

Smells Like Teen Spirit/In Bloom (Nirvana "Nevermind")

Bye Bye Bye/It's Gonna Be Me (*NSync "No Strings Attached") - pure perfect pop confection back to back

Smack My Bitch Up/Breathe (Prodigy "The Fat of the Land")

Metal Health/Cum On Feel The Noize (Quiet Riot "Metal Health")

Speak to Me/Breath/On The Run (Pink Floyd "The Dark Side of the Moon")

And the winner and still champion (pun intended):

We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions (Queen "News of the World") - c'mon...nothing beats this pair. What sucks is the rest of the album kicks ass yet no one knows any of the other songs.
