I might be in for Boston Leagal 1 (which I've seena few) and Prison Break 1 (which I've heard good things about). Anybody have any thoughts on the first season of Prison Break?

Saw an end display with all these there just now, but they were all marked $30+ with no sign of them being on sale.

IMO it's a great series and a great blind buy, but know going in that you find find Season 2 to be a must have after watching Season 1.

They were on display at my Costco with a sign indicating the instant rebate. I'm sure it will show up soon for you as well.

In general, my Costco greatly expanded their DVD section for the upcoming holidays.

Same expanision here. Almost doubled.

Sign or no sign, usually these deals are active and the discount is taken off at the register. I have a location near me that rarely ever puts out the signs, but I have got the discount every time. I've even had to tell others looking at the sale items that they are on sale.

picked up prison break season 2 for 19.99.

It was marked 32.99 and there were no signs at all.

Thanks Classic Films! I picked up the Mel Brooks set this afternoon. My Costco did not have the 'instant rebate' sign displayed - you'd think they would sell even more sets if they did!

All the sets were displayed without any sign of a sale at a Costco in Sacramento. However the prices were $32.99 to $34.99!

I was just at the Costco at Mountain View, CA and they had no sign up as well. But based on the inside poop from DVDTalkers, I knew they were on sale, just no sign. I picked up The Unit Season 1 and 2, both priced at 32.99. They rang up 32.99 minus 13.00 for a sweet total of 19.99 a piece. Season 1 is only 13 episodes though, but still, I've enjoyed the one or two episodes that I've previously seen. So have no fear, go ahead and buy any of the shows in the FOX TV display, that you enjoy, confident that they will ring up 19.99. I like that there is no sign at my store, since competition is pretty brutal here in Silicon Valley. I rely on the DVD Talk forum to let me know when Costco has a super deal. There is no way these DVD sets would have survived more than a couple of hours at 19.99 out here in the shark pool.
