Marx Bros. Silver Screen Collection (5 Movies) for $28.49 at Target.com

This Marx Brothers set includes the five movies they made for Paramount, The Cocoanuts, Animal Crackers, Monkey Business, Horse Feathers, and Duck Soup, plus a bonus disc, with three interviews from The Today Show (less than 20 minutes total). If you have an account at Amazon (where the set is $44.99), you don't even have to register a new account with Target. Shipping for me was $2.98.

Target: Marx Brother Silver Screen Collection

Cool, thanks for posting that.

I watched Horse Feathers for the first time last week and fell in love with these guys. Looking forward to seeing more of their stuff.

I notice Target has other similar box sets on sale for $28.49, including:

Preston Sturges: The Filmmaker Collection
W.C. Fields Comedy Collection Vol. 1
W.C. Fields Comedy Collection Vol. 2
The Cecil B. DeMille Collection

also:
Alfred Hitchcock - The Masterpiece Collection $57.99
The Gary Cooper Collection $13.49
Mae West - The Glamour Collection $13.49
Marlene Dietrich - The Glamour Collection $13.49
Carole Lombard- The Glamour Collection $13.49
James Stewart Screen Legend Collection $13.49
John Wayne Screen Legend Collection $13.49
Bing Crosby Screen Legend Collection $13.49
Rock Hudson Screen Legend Collection $13.49
The Boris Karloff Collection $14.49

Basically, it looks like Target.com is retaining the prices of the Amazon Universal box set sale, even though the prices have gone up at Amazon.com. It may be one last chance to get in on these low prices before Target adjusts to the Amazon increase.

Just a head's up that Target.com is still retaining those sale prices for the Universal box sets. Today I put in an order for the Preston Sturges and Boris Karloff sets for half the normal price. Shipping was only $4!

Wow, you're right, the Preston Sturges set has now shot up to $41.99. I must've gotten my order in time by a hair...
