I'm pretty sure that doesn't approach being most TV shows. The interior "popular" label is more accurate. I say that not just to pick but because I'd love to know about many shows not listed. How many more episodes of The Unit will there be? Nip/Tuck (I hope it's done)?
I can mention that according to what I heard on NPR one day this week, The Shield finished shooting its series finale during the first day or two of the strike.

Or could these shows resume their seasons later this year if the strike is settled?

I hope how soon they settle the strike. If they don't, our TV will be over runned by those damn reality shows. I guess then I can catch up on shows I haven't watched before on DVD.

Given that most shows usually go into basically a "holiday haitus" and show a lot of reruns during the last 6 weeks or so of any given year, we really won't see the strike's real effect on most of these shows until 2008.

This doesn't say anything about Journeyman, either, which I personally love. I have a feeling it might not come back at all when the strike is over.

The good news out of this is that Friday Night Lights may get a boost from this with so many new shows left compared to other series.
But ONE Office?!?!

The reason there is less Office is because they have more episodes written (I think) but they can't film because a good deal of the actors are also writers and are striking.

Probably not, and it probably won't matter since I'm sure the strike will run until shows start running out. The producers really don't have any incentive to do anything until the original programming is gone, viewership drops, advertisers put pressure on networks, and networks put pressure on producers.

Bummer about Heroes. I'm hoping Dexter will finish out it's entire season.

If anyone is interested that link has a list that adds in other channels like HBO, Showtime, etc. I guess the LA Times put together that entire list.

Wow, i hope this strike thing is settled becuase i will be seriously pissed that i have to wait all the way till Feb for the 4th season of Lost and get only a 8 ep season from thier already sliced down 16.

If we only get 8 episodes of Lost next year, and not the planned arc of 16 episodes like we wanted and expected, I will be upset and disappointed... and that's the 'light' version of how I will react. The Writers deserve their compensation - though I hope this strike ends soon.

I'm a little confused.
When the list says, "Fourteen episodes will be produced" or "Ten episodes will be produced", does that mean that those are episodes that are all done and ready to air? The way that's worded, it sounds as if they have the scripts, but have not filmed them yet. If that is the case, things are much worse. As we've seen this past week, show after show is going dark and shooting is not happeneing, even with completed scripts.
We're not going to have anyting except what is complete right now.

Like for example Prison Break are going on hiatus after this Monday's episode until January and then returns for episode 9-13, which i think is a very good idea as by the time episode 13 rolls around three and a half months would've gone by and that is plenty of time to resolve the strike and finish off the rest of the season.
