Hopefully these next 2 are memorable, since they will probably be the last we see for quite a while.

There are only two more in the can??? Ugh... that's a depressing thought, I thought it was more like 4 or 5.

They have a few more scripts, but production has been shut down.

Understanding the Strike

By now you may have heard that The Office has shut down production. This is true. They cleaned out my trailer and just delivered me 3 boxes of my stuff. It is pretty surreal. We cannot produce new episodes of The Office until the Writer's Guild strike is over.

(snip)

Oh...there are only 2 unaired original episodes of The Office left. And, I'm sad to say the one we were getting ready to shoot was going to be the funniest of the year. I'm sure of it. They've been pitching this particular story idea for over 2 years…it involves Pam and Jim being in Michael's home but that's all I'll say. I hope we get to shoot it soon. Let's all stay strong and hope that the strike can end soon.

Didn't she say the same thing about last season's Christmas episode. That it was the funniest ever. It was funny, but nowhere near one of the funniest episodes of the series.

Well that was certainly an underwhelming episode. Fits right in with the rest of this somewhat disappointing season.

The funniest bit was Michael scaring the hell out of people with "Surprise!"

Other than that, the episode was ho-hum.

That ending scene with Michael and Jim is what makes the show so great.

You guys are far too demanding. How can you poo-poo an episode that has Creed demanding peach cobbler and then wolfing down an entire pan of said cobbler later on? I loved the subtleties of Jim channeling Michael while in charge; from the way he looked up at a couple of points to the talking head at Michael's desk.

Maybe I read too much into it, but it seems like they're leading to something with Jim realizing/dealing with the idea he's not leaving this company any time soon.

And what, no love for the Battlestar Galatica sweatshirt?

This episode sucked. Thank you NBC for forcing this stupid green crap down our throats. What was the point of this episode?

I think it was a bad episode that was just used to set up the final scene. kind of pointless.

Dumbest episode ever. The best parts were the Jim/Birthday stuff and the Michael/birthday stuff. Even so any Office is better than no Office.

Or maybe some of us really think this episode stunk.
