2-Disc Pan's Labyrinth $8.87 at Walmart w/ Movie Cash

Possible price mistake... Best Buy has this for $27.99
Walmart has Pan's Labyrinth for $8.87 + Movie Cash for The Golden Compass
Either a crazy good deal or a price mistake, you decide. I ordered one, we will see how it plays out.
$11.96 after shipping and tax

It should be noted that this is for the 2 Disc Edition and that it currently shows up as a Pre-Order Item.

The two-disc? No kidding! I've been waiting for a drop in price. No way was I paying $23-$28 for a mere two-disc set. I put in my order and it notes that it's going to be shipped on the 13th of November. Sweeeeet.

This must be a pre-order with a new UPC code. I purchased Pan's 2-disc'r at my Wally World last week on 11-1-07 and it rang up regular price of $27.23 (UPC 794043108877). There was no Golden Compass promo sticker on the copy I purchased. I have since returned it, but thought the info might be useful to someone.

I almost bought the single disc edition because it was on sale and I've wanted to see this film for ages. This deal is amazing. I was planning to see "The Golden Compass" at some point anyway.

Even for a matinee price, it's like I'm only paying $4 for this DVD. Hopefully it will ship. Thanks, britmac!

Does Wal-Mart have any sort of free shipping offer or anything? I haven't ordered from their website in ages.

Not that I've ever seen. Sometimes you can do in-store pickup, but it isn't available on this item since it is a pre-order...

This is odd: I ordered it last night and now I just read my receipt: apparently I'll have it in my hands by the 13th-15th of this month. Very nice. I might just see Golden Compass just because.

Well, for free, I'd go see nearly anything. The fact that I get a DVD previously overpriced is icing on the cake of joy.

I am thinking if $8.87 is the new lower price, Blockbuster should soon include this as part of a 4 for $20 sale. Or maybe even special price it at $3.99. But seriously, what a delightful movie !! Unlike any other movie I have seen. thanks, OP
