*RED HOT* Free $25 GC w/Super Mario Galaxy at TRU(11/11-11/17)

What the title says. Only other details given are "in store only." All the credit, of course, goes to CAG and midnight metal

Dang, now that is HOT!!! Any other details, or is it just $25GC when you buy SMG?

Wow.. in store purchase only?

I'll have to go buy SMG and get the $25 GC. I can then put that towards another game coming out soon, Lego Starwars Complete.

Yeah I read that thread and until he gets the actual ad in, I think it's too good to be true. I'll keep my eyes open on it though.

Hopefully it is true. That would make the game effectively half price. A very good deal that I will certainly take part in.

I wonder if this will be one of those situations where they have no copies left after all pre-orders are filled.

Definitely.

There is speculation that it is a misprint, which may be likely. The most likely scenario is that it is Buy SMG and a Wii and get a $25, which sounds more plausible.

OR it could be the cruelest prank ever.

This definitely sounds too good to be true.

Even if the ad says it's a $25 GC for buying SMG and a Wii, that doesn't make sense either. If TRU gets any Wii consoles in next week, the consoles would sell out regardless of the extra promo. Initial reviews of SMG are great (as expected), so it's not like the game is shovelware that they have to force on people.

I'm going to stop by TRU and reserve SMG tonight, just in case. You can get your $5 deposit back if you decide to buy somewhere else, right?

Well, you would be getting what every preview and review I've read are calling a great game. The best one on the Wii, yet. I don't see how that could be a bad thing.

I wonder what the * asterisk after "with purchase of Wii Super Mario Galaxy" says?

Also, did they really mean to say "with purchase of Wii & Super Mario Galaxy" since this game is not available on any other systems.

I had NO plans on getting this game but if I get this plus $25 off, I can get Ghost Squad a week later for an extra $5, thats the game I really want!

Will TRU let you preorder and pay full price? That way I can do that and just pick up the useless coin and gift card as well as the game on release day.

I'm going to order it at the Forum. Blanco is probably closer, but I hate dealing with the construction over there.

Since it's on my way to Ultimate Frisbee on Sunday, I'm pretty much obligated to go to Blanco...hate that traffic as well.

Now I just need to sort out what to spend the $25 on...was thinking Zack and Wiki, but may save that for Xmas...perhaps Medal of Honor: Heroes 2.

The ad for this. It won't be coming out until next Sunday, not tomorrow, right?
