Amazon's Lightning DVD Deal (11/01) - Not yet disclosed (Starts at 1400 PST)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/goldbox/105-7475113-1175649

Clue is

"Don't clown around on this deal. There are no flaming hoops to jump through (for you, anyway). Just clear a little space on your DVD shelf and get ready to act on this deal because it'll disappear like magic. "

Sounds like some type of kids movie...

Sign up for www.lightningdeals.com so you'll get an email when the deal is live, in case you forget about it.

So, can anyone with prior experiences with these lightning deals on DVDs comment on whether they are usually a truly great deal and beat everyone else's price on the title? I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth making sure I'm at my computer to jump on this when the time comes. TIA

They had the Mr.Bean The Whole Bean for $18.99 before, it's at $33.99 now
http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Bean-Whole-...3930618&sr=1-2

So the deals are good, but from what I've seen it seems like they're mostly older products Amazon is trying to get rid of, just my personal observation though.

Good guess. "Just clear a little space on your DVD shelf"

Monty Python makes sense. My first thought was that they're going to clear out their Killer Klowns From Outer Space stock left over from Halloween

I literally bought the last one. As soon as I added it to my cart, the total went to 100% Sold out.

An amazing deal, too bad I missed out.

Cirque has some amazing shows. I already picked one of these up, but I gladly would have bought a couple more to sell in my shop.

Perfect timing! Was it at 99% when you added it?

www.lightningdeals.com if you are online and checking your email during the times the deals are released. There have been some days where I forgot about the deals until getting the emails.

Yes. I saw 99%, but thought it was only put there to hurry buyers to purchase. As soon as I hit add to cart, the bar went to 100% and then said sold out.

The first deal today only sold 35% in four hours, I think the amount sold is real. They just don't tell you how many total items they have, they could have had 10x more of the 1st product for all we know.

Yeah, I would have been watching for it and had guessed it would be Cirque by the hint. However, a local CD store called me and asked if I would be interested in buying out their stock of DVD's, so instead of being able to watch the lighting deal I was out counting up, packing up and transporting about 600 titles

It's exactly the same as woot except it's only twice a week with 3 deals each day. The categories are really diverse too, unlike woot which is mostly electronics.
