How many PREMIUM MOVIE CHANNELS do you have in your CABLE TV PACKAGE?
I'll start.
I just have HBO (in HD) and maybe a Starz and Encore in there somewhere, but I don't know if that justifies the 60.00 cost.
Anyone have ALL the HBO's, ALL the Showtimes, ALL the Skinemaxes?

I get cable free from where I work so I get the complete package. All Cinemax's, HBO's Starz, Showtimes and a few others. I get all the sports channels and all the other premium channels. My cable Co doesn't offer HD yet though. And there is still NOTHING on. I usually just watch the same 4 or 5 networks. I never watch movies on those channels because they are all old movies that have been on DVD for months and the show the same thing over and over again.

i have verizon fios and i got all the movie packages except the cinemax one. i get around 55 movie channels. In reality it is less than that since a lot of them are hbo/hbo west hbo 2/hbo 2 west which means it shows the same movies but on west coast time

I’m a DVD Collector; the Movie channels are worthless to me so I don’t have them. In Canada; they carry the Showtime/HBO shows but considering Dexter is the only show on Showtime that I watch and HBO hasn't had a decent show on since The Larry Sanders Show went off the air; and more recently Six Feet Under I don't see the point in wasting the cash.
Dexter comes on DVD in the summertime anyway, so I just wait ti'll then. I think Michael C. Hall is probably the best actor/most underrated on TV right now; but I don't think Dexter is the best show on Television right now. It's a really good show, just not Six Feet Under.

I have everything but Starz. Three years ago when I got cable I wanted HBO. It was around $10. They offered me everything but Starz for $15 for one year. Three years later I still have it for that price.

I agree with you. MCH is very underrated... but, I wouldn't say he's the best actor on Tv right now..IMO, Kyle Chandler gets that award.
We have Directv w/ HBO and SHOWTIME. I keep threatening to cancel both of them.. but never get around to it.

I've got everything my cable company offers except the Hispanic Specialty Services tier and 40% of the HD Pack (odd story there).
My cable + internet through Time-Warner runs me the bargain price of $190/month

I just got an hd-dvd player. I know some studios have blu-ray exclusives. Is there a certain movie channel that's better than the others if I want to see hd movies that I can't see on hd-dvd?

I used to have all the movie channels when there was a nice package deal and mainly had it for the family when they came over. Then it changed to $15 for the first one, $12 for the second, and it goes down for each subsequent channel. Too expensive and I ended up not watching them enough to justify the cost.
Now I only have HBO and just watch Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Wire. Once those seasons are over I'll probably cancel it then.
