How I Met Your Mother - 10/22/07 - "H.I.M. Everyone Else"

I hope Barney goes into detail on his crazy scale.
When Ted's new girl becomes jealous because the story of how he and his pals met is better than the story of how she and Ted met, her ranking on Barney's "crazy scale" skyrockets. TV14-DL

I hope its good after the last few episodes have only been mildly funny.

Not a great episode but still funny. The crazy/hot graph was spot on.
I like how this show has multiple flashbacks and references to the same past event and theres rarely any plot holes.

Well, I think it is safe to say that the next twelve years will not be good to Marshmellow.
I personally quite enjoyed the episode. This season (all five episodes) has been fairly good, with the biggest slip-up, for me, being "We're Not From Here." And it sounds as though the season will continue to prove strong, based upon what little I've heard.

Flashback 1996 Lily looks like she could have been a little freaky with her gothy jet black hair
but Flashback 2001 Lily with her red hair is so hot!
Seeing 2007 Lily makes me mad at Alyson Hannigan for changing her hair color.

I think the new gf was a little over the top crazy, but still a funny episode. I loved Ted's look from college.
"Lily. C'mon."

BTW...blah blah is hot as hell. TV.com says her name is Ellen, maybe she'll be back being that he didnt remember her name in this episode...
"We get to meet Ellen, Ted's hot new girlfriend, right before she meets the gang. We also get to see how Ted met Marshall and how Marshall and Lily first met. Ted's girlfriend has a reaction to the meeting that gets her a high ranking on Barney's crazy scale."

IMO, big improvement over the last couple episodes.

Yeah, it was awesome when Marshall put his sandwich out in the ashtray.

Future Ted's teenage kids must be morons if they can't see through that.

With the Wilco reference last episode and an obscure Jayhawks song played in this one, my wife is convinced I'm somehow manipulating their music choices from afar.

1996 Lily looks oddly like Hank Moody's daughter on Californication.
Oh, and I don't remember anyone in 1996 using the phrase "tap that".
