Penultimate episode, I believe. I hope that having this picked up for a second season doesn't mean we won't get some closure for this season.

EXCELLENT!!! Great how the pieces just fell into place!

The scenes between Ellen/Patty before the attack and after posting bail were chilling.
And I also loved how Frobisher can swiftly go from feigning sympathy to snorting coke with a bunch of whores.

"Trust no one." Ellen, that includes Hollis Nye.

Glad I finally got myself caught up on the last few weeks.
Great episode.

I agree skatefan. Love how everything seemed to fall into place.

F'in Hollis Nye is in on it?!?!

This show constantly keeps you off guard without totally abandoning credibility - terrific writing!

Mario van Peebles pulled double duty on this episode -- as director, as as an actor (briefly, at the very end).

I too liked last night's episode. As a whole, the season has been pretty strong (though not in ratings apparently). Anyway, looking forward to the season finale next week.

I expected it because he was being portrayed far too benignly for someone who shouldn't be that invested in a relatively new lawyer's mess.

Ellen's negotiating skills have gotten much better as the season has progressed.

Great stuff and a great twist at the end. Can't wait for the season finale.

I have to assume we'll have a S2.

Only problem was that it wasn't in HD even though FXHD just started on Monday.

Groucho, I too noticed MvP as one of the men following Ellen. He did a superb job with the entire hour.

Many don't know what they're missing.

Absolutely -- something 24 could not do at all last season.

--Darn you DirecTV people...gettin' all the better High Def channels
Ahhh, were the DirecTv folk watching this in stretch-o-vision or was the broadcast upconverted? There is still the possibility that the 12-hour marathon starting this Saturday at 8am East./5am Pac. will air in HD.

Wow, if there is a second season, I wonder how they can match this one. The whole season has been fantastic.

For those who missed it, the Damages marathon will be airing on Saturday (starting at 8 a.m. - Eastern).

This show is all about the acting!

Great news about a second season. I don't think there's a better show on TV now. A few as good but none better.

Okay who in real life and in the show is Hollis Nye?

I dont know what it is, but the show has no action or fast pacing but it flies by when I watch this! Im always, "thats it??"

Great damn show. And I thought that was Peebles at the end.

What I love is that this show even it bit parts gets amazing cast! Again props for the little Seizmasko came out and now the dude from Deadwood, Jack McCall, than Hoon... wow.

Hollis Nye is the old guy who headed up the other firm where Ellen worked before getting cherry-picked by Patty.

Awesome episode, and fantastic series. I am almost disappointed that there is a second season, because I am afraid that the writers will hold back at the end of this season and the finale will be a letdown. Let's hope not.

From what I remember originally hearing the show was supposed to be a new case every season. So i'm guessing everything with the Frobisher case will come to a close and next season will be a new Patty Hewes case. Not sure whether or not Ellen's story will continue if she doesn't go back to work with Patty.
