Worst New Show of 2007-08 TV season
Since there is a thread on the best new show, I thought it would be interesting to start a thread on what you think is the worst new show this TV season.
Watching 5-10 minutes of the premiere and tuning out doesn't count. You actually had to have sit through 1 or 2 episodes.
If you didn't like it, please explain why. Don't just say the show sucks.

My vote has to go to K-Ville.
A good idea to do a procedural drama about a city that's never really been seen in primetime TV that was poorly executed. Bad casting with 2 unlikeable leads and a ridiculous reveal on Cole Hauser's character. I really wanted to like this show, but it's a thumbs down for me.

Given the rules, I have to vote Reaper. I went through 3 episodes and none of them inspired enough affection from me to continue. I got through much more of it than I did of Gossip Girl, though.

After suffering through two episodes of Cavemen, that's where my vote goes. It sucks. It sucks because it's not funny, it's not clever, it's not amusing, it's not so-bad-it's-funny, it was a bad idea, it should die.

If you go back to new shows that started this summer, the worst one would have to be Flash Gordon. The acting, dialogue and plots are beyond awful. It is good for a laugh, though.

Well with the rules, I’d say Back to You. Watching the pilot & the second episode & after making it (barely) through the second episode, I just said, “fu*k this is garbage!” that was the end of that. Like Grammer a lot & he was excellent on Cheers & Frasier and I tried to like this show, I really, really did, but I just couldn’t.
As bad as it is its still better than ‘Til Death.

You know going back to K-Ville, I think FOX greenlighted the show with the wrong producers/writers. I noticed the most of the writers and producers are from such hits like Standoff, Drive, Playmakers and Jack and Bobby... Tim Minear is actually working on this show as a Consulting Producer. Someone like a David Milch could have made this show a success and given it a harder edge to make it credible.

As of right now, its Reaper... Not saying it sucks, but just a big disappointment... Still sticking with it just to see if it will go anywhere (and Missy Peregrym), but Im not holding out much hope.

Should this be a poll?
I'm not liking anything except Pushing Daisies. However: K-Ville was especially bad, and lost me as a viewer when it went completely over-the-top in the last 15 minutes or so of the pilot.

I have watched 4 of the new shows: Kville, Chuck, KidNation and Moonlight. Kville, Chuck and KidNation are good (in order of preference). Moonlight is only fair, but still watchable. I totally avoided watching any shows which I presumed would be total stinkers. So, according to OP's rules, my vote would have to be Moonlight.

The rules for the thread are going to lead to all the 'worst' shows actually being the most average or most disappointing. Because if I'm truly disliking a show, I'm not going to stick around for 2 episodes, and I'm probably not even going to finish the first episode. And that's even if I tune it at all. Limited by those rules my choice would have to go to something like K-Ville or Big Bang Theory, which were okay enough that I finished the premiere, but not good enough for me to bother with a second. Yet there are things like Gossip Girl, which I stopped and deleted 20 minutes in... keep in mind it took me three sittings to even get that far.
Of shows I've seen so far...
K-Ville - The whole thing just felt lifeless. I didn't hate it, but just found it too dreary to sit though on a weekly basis.
Moonlight - Couldn't stand the lead, but it captured my attention enough that I finished out the pilot. Not sure I'll watch it again, though.
Back to You - Ten years ago I probably would've enjoyed this, but it's a bit too dated in its formula for my tastes. It's watchable, I guess, but I would never go out of my way to do so.
Life - I fell asleep during this. Repeatedly. But I was sick and on medication, so I may give it another shot down the line.
Gossip Girl - Like I said, tried three times to watch this, figuring maybe I just had to be in the right mood for it. Nope. Another drab pilot with characters I didn't like. 20 minutes and I was out.

I just don't think you can give a fair assessment of a show by watching it for 5-10 minutes and saying..."Yeah this stinks I'm out." Same applies to watching a movie or listening to a CD. I think if you can't stand it after that short length of time, you probably were not really interested in watching it in the 1st place.

Cavemen of course, Moonlight is another one, not that bad but didnt care for it. Repear could be good but it needs to be a half hour show or something.
So far the ones I like are
Chuck, Bionic Women, Pushing Dasies

Wow. Didn't think I'd see so many votes for Reaper. I'm enjoying that one.
I watched Big Bang Theory tonight and it was nothing short of awful. Terribly unfunny and the chick wasn't as hot as I was expecting.

I barely made it through the first episode of Cavemen. It was really terrible.
Big Bang Theory isn't great, but it has actually made me laugh out loud a few times. They do the geek humor pretty well ("He's selling the Sword of Azeroth on Ebay"). I don't see it lasting, though.
I'm hanging in there with Bionic Woman, but only because of Katee Sackhoff's character. When she stops showing up regularly, I'm out.
