Sorely underrated comedy from this year, especially when you consider how Middle America made Wild Hogs and Evan Almighty go for high box office grosses (well, the latter bombed, but still, it made $70-80 million less than it should have). Will Arnett and Ian McShane were priceless in it. And the lines are priceless.

"All great men have moustaches!"
"Yeah, but real men actually GROW them!"
"You know I have a hormonal disorder!"
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!"

However, this movie is so painfully lost in the 80's that Paramount should release this on VHS. In fullscreen. Come on, they played Europe in it!

I agree. Knocked Up and Superbad were both really good, but Hot Rod was the funniest movie of the summer as far as I'm concerned. It's a must buy.

I'm buying the DVD strictly for the scene in which The Lonely Island's Chester is helping the guys put up flyers, but instead throws the flyers into people's faces and starts dancing.

The whole absurdity of that sequence had my friend and I in tears for minutes after that.

I really liked this movie so I'll be getting it if an HD version comes out. "I was 2 legit, 2 legit to quit, but now I'm unlegit....unlegit so I must quit".

I enjoyed it a lot as well. Some great scenes and the unihibited nature will make this own. Hope they have a fun commentary track.
