25th Anniversary Edition SE 2-Disc DVD for 2008?

Which of these 1983 films would you most like to see released on a 25th Anniversary Edition SE 2-Disc DVD?

Gotta go with Risky Business....it has only had a barebones release from WAY WAY back in the day (1997)....it could REALLY use a remastering, plus it begs for some bonus features...

National Lampoon's Vacation. The current DVD has very few features and is a snapper.

This one is easy. Easy Money...with the missing Showtime boxing scene put back in. I love this movie! An underappreciated comic gem.

Now here's the right topic for my choice.

Risky Business, followed by Vacation, the SE that's not really a SE.

It was between "wargames," "risky business," and "Vacation" - but "Wargames" won by a small margin...

From the list I chose Tender Mercies but would also like to see Local Hero.
How about some of the excellent foreign films from that year - Nostalghia, Sugar Cane Alley, Funny Dirty Little War, El Norte, El Sur, Danton, Confidentially Yours, And the Ship Sails On. How about The Big Chill (the 15th Anniversary was just OK) - Gorky Park - The King of Comedy - Merry Christmas,Mr.Lawrence - The Dresser. How about the ultimate all-inclusive DVD box set releases The Right Stuff or Scarface. I could go on...

Weird. I'm the first to vote for Terms of Endearment. Great film.

Purely going from the list: Vacation. I want to rid myself of that snapper.

I would expect nothing less of Mr. Salty!

Wargames is the only movie on that list that doesn't make me puke. Do we need a special edition for it's 25th anniversary? No. No we don't.

I believe Flashdance is getting released next month.

Trading Places already got a new special edition earlier this year.

1983 was a great year of movie sequels like 2007, but the movies didn't turn out to be good. JAWS 3-D, NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN, STAR 80, STAYIN' ALIVE .

WarGames deserves another look.

Why are Trading Places and Flashdance on the list? I think a new SE of Flashdance came out recently (or is coming out soon). Trading Places has a fantastic SE that was released earlier this year.
