Control - A Film by Anton Corbijn (joy division)

I think this will be amazing. Visually I love pretty much everything corbijn has done, and well the music speaks for itself...

This is the official trailer.

And I know it probably belongs in Movie Talk, but it's more apt here...

I've been looking for a wide release date pretty much daily. I can't wait for this.

I'm seeing it Friday at the Toronto International Film Festival. I'm also seeing a new Joy Division documentary the same day.

I saw this last month at a film festival in New Zealand, amazing movie - a bit of a downer of course considering the nature of Ian's story, but wonderfully made and fantastic "concert" footage and cinematography. More humour in it too than I would have imagined, particularly in the early part of the film. A must-see if you're a fan of the band, the fellow playing Curtis is amazing.

Very nice. That chap who played Ian Curtis in "24 Hour Party People" did a great job too.

Cool. Definitely a "must buy" on DVD.
