Songs you find grating.
oh let's see -
The Sun Will Come Out - from the musical Annie
It's A Small World After All
I am sure there are countless songs that people hum or whistle that once you hear gets stuck and remain stuck in your head
what songs peeve you off?

"Where Have all the Cowboys Gone" by Paula Cole (both the skull-drill "di-duh-duh, di-duh-duh" backing vocals and the incredibly irritating and fake "righteously aggrieved feminist" lyrics: "I will wash the dishes while you go have a beer")
"Whats Up" by 4 Non Blondes has the most grating vocal of all time, IMO.
"December" by Collective Soul.. it's the awful, boring, z-grade grunge rip-off guitar riffs and the "aren't we ssssscandalous" "turn your head, now baby and spit me out" hook lyrics.

I CAN'T STAND that song.Ever spent any time in F.A.O. Schwartz whatsoever? You'll get "Welcome to Our World of Toys" seared into your brain.
Also, while not a solitary song, Lucinda Williams' voice is just grating to me. And, to a lesser extent, Stevie Nicks.

Anything by Shaggy.some of the most horrid crap ever. In fact ANY song with fake Jamaican accent.
I must say I really hated 'Where Have All The Cowboys Gone'.
Umbrella is completly up there with one of the dumbest songs ever.
Anything by the utterly pathetic Toby Keith. Just my most hated person in the world of 'music'.
Anything by Creed. Arghh especially Arms Wide Open
Mambo #5 another 'what the heck is wrong with people' song.
Mmm Bop.. I'd do awful things to those girls. Not sexually, just awful things.
Theres so many.

Blah. I applaud Mandy for trying to make something nice out of it...but like I always say, you can polish a turd all you want, but when you're done, all you have is a shiny piece of shit.
