questions about the Predator / Predator 2 Gift Set
this one
1- is it a 4-disc set(SE of each) like amazon list it? many retailers list it as a 2-disc set.
2-if it's a 4-disc set,is the packaging any good?

looks like a repackage of the se's with an outer box (shell) housing them both.

I've been wondering about that Predator Triple Feature too, is it all six discs in thinpacks? It's on ebay a lot and amazon. Was it a store exclusive?

I think it's the old bare bones releases since dvdempire only lists what the bare bones releases had as features. Also just looking at the cover glimpsed on the package. And it's the same as the new slip covers for the bare bones releases.
The triple pack must be the SEs of the films,since amazon does list them as SEs/unrated AvP.
And if anyone is interested. Target has a triple pack of the bare bones releases/pg-13 AvP for $19.99 in slim cases. That's what i own.

I've seen a box set with Predator, Predator 2, and AvP at Costco. All three were the two disc versions. They weren't thinpacked and were the original keepcases in a box. If you're looking for a Predator box set than that seems to be the best one available.

They were 32.99 at Costco if I remember correctly, Predator was in the digipack while P2 and AVP were housed in a their slipcases. Not a bad deal if you don't have them already.

Here is what the Target triple pack looks like. I went with it over the more expensive SE set to save space. And i'm sure the 2 dvd gift pack includes the two bare bones dvd included in this set. So if you wanted to save money. This is a good option. But if you want all the extra features,the SE triple set shown on Amazon would be a good option.

These are the two-disc versions of both Predator and Predator 2 (4 discs total) in slim cases with the cover shown on Amazon. The best of both worlds, and a small package for more valuable shelf space.

I just received my copy today. Never bought those and thought it be perfect. They are the 2 disc special editions w/dts, with the slim-set cases. The reprint covers are from the first sets though and don't list 2 discs or dts but I checked the discs and they are identical to the special ones a friend has.
