Ever since I searched for Transformers DVDs on e-bay, I have been getting annoying spam e-mails advertising this set. At least, I'm pretty sure that's the same set -- I never actually open the e-mails.

One could also wait and see if the series gets re-released when the movie comes out. I know that whichever company did the movie also has the rights to the cartoon.

I have this set. The menus are a bit tedious but the picture quality is good. The set also includes the movie.
There are a few different versions out there. i'd be willing to throw down for a different set if it had better menus.

LLARS, you would upgrade just for better menus? I think that's the first time I've heard someone do that. As a DVD collector myself, i'm just curious, have you done that before?

I've never done that before, but I do have an obsession with wanting all of my DVD's in Keepcases so everything looks uniform.

I have all the G1 Rhino releases and finally am getting through most of them, I'm up to Season 3 right after the movie....pretty cool stuff, I don't really mind all the glitches, sometimes they're funny
