I bought the 2-disc SE Escape From New York in Walmarts $5.00 bin. When I opened it, there was 3 discs inside. Two of disc 1 (Feature Film) and One of disc 2 (Bonus Features). Both disc 1's worked just fine.
I had bought the 2-disc SE of Seabiscuit and it had 2 of the film cells in it.

I once bought one of the James Bond Collection box sets off of eBay, and instead of the discs inside was a bloody stump of a hand.
I was not a happy customer, and you can bet I left some negative feedback. Oh well, at least the inserts were there.

Well, I once bought Ed Wood from a local Blockbuster only to get home and find out it was the original, rarer release with the "When Carol Met Larry" featurette. That was a bit of a surprise considering how people were looting stockrooms to get to that release when the recall was put out.

But anyway, I bought the special edition of Die Hard 2 and there were two disc 2s. Disc 1 was there and there were two disc 2s stacked on one another.

I ordered a used E.T. gift set. Someone switched disc 1 for disc 1 of Pearl Harbor. At least the theatrical cut, supplement disc, and music score CD were intact. While it did have the hardcover book, it was missing the film cell. It was $24, which I guess was worth it.

I bought Hart to Hart-The Complete First Season & it had 2 disc fives in it. I bet that someone was missing the fifth disc in one of their sets though.

I bought one of the Star Trek CE films, and it contained an extra Special Features disc. I think I still have it in the case, not knowing exactly what to do with it.

The most I ever got was an extra insert.

Only it was a laundry truck and instead of a bloody stump, it was a couple of dozen political refugees from China.
