Grandma's Boy

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0456554/

R-Rated comedy produced by Sandler's company...

Just saw the TV spot a second ago... Looks pretty funny...

Defenitly cheesy, but I'll check it out, I have always liked Covert and the rest of the Sandler gang.

Good things about this movie? Hmm...hmm...hmm...we get a brief glimpse of Linda Cardellini's thong. That's something...I guess. And that's about it.

Sometimes I wonder if Allen Covert cries himself to sleep at night when he realizes his entire career can be summed up with three words: "Adam Sandler's lapdog."

It was a very funny group of characters and situations that they tried to attach a plot to. Had they just stuck with the shenanigans resulting from Allen Covert living with his grandma and her friends, it would have been better. As I said, though, I enjoyed it and so did my wife.

If there is a Grandma's boy AP thread, then I demand a Deuce Bigelow European Gigealo thread, and think that another sequel be made.

One of the VERY few movies I've watched more than once in the last several years. I love it.

"Dude, you know you can't raise your voice like that when the lion gets here..."

I love this movie. Who would've guessed, right? I always thought it looked dumber than shit, then a friend brought it over, we watched it (high, 'natch) and I went out and bought it the next day. Endlessly quoteable and funny as fuck.

Well, I liked the Milk Maid. And Nick Swardson was funny. But that's about it.

I just don't find stoner humor all that funny. To each his own.

I caught a screening of it at Mann's Chinese Theater. The whole cast was there except for Covert, he was on Conan that night I think. Anyway, we thought it was a hilarious, fun, dumb, re-watchable movie. I went to use the rest room, Peter Dante was at the urinal next to me, I told him how funny it was, and congrats hope it does well. He pats me on the shoulder and says, hey thanks, tell you friends to go see it. I was like oh man, this dude was holding his dong, and just touched my shoulder, nasty. Andy Dick did the same thing to me at the Tenacious D premiere, and he left without washing his hands.

You could make some money on eBay with that Dong Shirt, I hope you didn't wash it.

It suprised me how funny this movie turned out to be. I think I fell off the couch when he came on the mom.
