When is Paris Je T'aime going to be released in N. America?
Hey guys,
I live in Toronto, Canada. I recently saw the movie Paris Je T'aime which was absolutely amazing. I am dying to purchase it, and I am someone who rarely purchases a movie on DVD-- only when it's excellent!
I can't, however, find ANY information on when it will be released on DVD outside of France. Even IMDB says nothing on the matter.
Any help? Thanks,
-Andrew

I have the 2-disc released by Deltamac. The cover art is similar, so maybe the extra features will be carried over: http://www.hkflix.com/xq/asp/filmID....qx/details.htm
It says it's R3 on the case, but is actually R0. Also includes a nice 40-page booklet.

I missed during its limited art house run in Chicago, so I'll get the 2-disc set once released.
I was in Paris recently and saw that it was already on the shelves there, but didn't pick it up due to the price.
The trailer looks great and I hope I enjoy the movie as much as I loved the trailer.

So I never saw this but have heard some good things. I am interested in the two disc version. Are there any reviews out there at all? Picture quality? Are all the shorts included? I thought I remembered reading that the Coen Brothers piece was omitted for whatever reason. Anyone have this yet that could shed some light?
Thanks...
Thanks...

Wow. This is a fuckin' awesome set.
The picture quality is pretty solid which is a shock as I remember the theatrical print being in pretty terrible condition. Since I watched it on my iMac first, I haven't been able to test out the DTS track that comes on the disc as well in addition to the Dolby Digital 2.0 and 5.1 tracks.
The first disc includes a 25-minute documentary produced for English speaking markets as well as trailers for other First Look titles.
The second disc includes a nearly three hour (!!!) documentary broken up into 18 parts, but I haven't tested it yet as it does not have a "PLAY ALL" feature. There's also storyboards (video storyboards for Quartier de la Madeleine and comparisons for Tour Eiffel) and the US theatrical trailer.
