Simpsonizeme.com - Before and After

Anyone get the simpsonizeme.com site to work? If so, post the before and after pics.

Ive heard that passport and driver's license photos work best. Im still trying to get mine to load and will post when successful.

I'll play along. We've beeing using this while bored at work. I used my column mug from work. It worked pretty good as long as I marked "scruffy;" otherwise, I would get some pretty strange results. Luckily, I could customize more afterward.

And here's the Simpsons version of me:

Oh, and here's one at my "other" job:

As you can tell, I had a lot of fun with these.

Nice...Ive used multiple pictures and cant get mine to work....always just loads and loads or says ERROR....the only time I got it to work, the outcome was a blank picture. Odd.

Ill try some more when I get home. Maybe ill scan my passport photo.

Make sure you have your photo shrunk down to their size requirements. I had to shrink mine a bunch of times before it would finally read it.

What size was yours?

640x480? or smaller?

Hmm, if you make sure it's that size, you shouldn't have any problem. It maybe wouldn't hurt to make a copy of the pic and make that one smaller, just as a test. But like the above poster said, I tried to go to the site earlier today and had to refresh several times because the site must have way too much traffic right now.

I'm having a helluva time getting it to work, made my pic 640x480 and it accepted it but then after i selected all my attributes it timed out on me. Keeps timing out at the initial stage right now so i'll have to try again later.

Ditto...mine keeps telling me that there is an error with the picture....Ive tried 10 pics or so...all 640x480 and not huge....one looked almost exactly like the example with a white background. Still no go....Arghh!

I tried about 6 different pics, and it only made it through to the next step on one of them, and it made me a woman. Which is odd, because it was the picture of me with a beard. Perhaps someone is trying to tell me something...

Why are you guys using the minimum resolution of 640x480? You should have a resolution greater than the minimum.

You see, when I didn't mark scruffy as one of my attributes, it did the same thing to me. Although one time it made me into like a Picasso painting. Like all of the facial features were bunched together in the corner of one part of the face. It was weird. I actually should've saved that one.

As for resolution size, I know I started with a really high resolution and kept working my way down until it finally accepted it. But I had to reduce quite a few times, and in pretty big increments.

That's so weird that no one else here has been able to get it to work! (or at least be willing to post them ...)

Most of the ones I've seen of my friends looked very little like them. I thought mine came out pretty good (though not as good as my Mii) and one other friend had one that I thought looked reasonably close. One looked out of left field from what the guy really looked like.

I'm glad they put that up instead of the error message and ridiculous load times yesterday.
