Geezus, now they're remaking Footloose

And with the kid from High School Musical to boot! Why Lord, why? So what's next, a remake of Top Gun, or Beverly Hills Cop?

I wonder if it's a remake of the movie or the theatrical musical.

Hopefully, the stage version, which included a lot of material that had been chopped from the film script prior to filming.

Dear Hollywood: More original movies, less remakes and sequels and comic book movies. Please thanks.
You ask what' next? They're remaking the classic French noir Rififi (with Al Pacino in it).

This new trend of remaking movies must stop! Now, if you'll excuse me I'm off to watch The Maltese Falcon starring Humphrey Bogart.

Maybe he's no Romeo.

I mean, "What? I don't know the lyrics to that song. Or 'Almost Paradise'. Never even heard of it."

I need a hero. I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night.

I'm sure it will be full of hip hop, which means I won't have any desire to see it, so no big whoop. I got the original on DVD at home.

Hey, the original had a dude "popping" so hip-hop would continue the grand tradition.

Wasn't "Almost Paradise" a duet between Anne Wilson and the lead singer of Loverboy?

That was a pretty sweet soundtrack.

Now twenty years later, I think John Lithgow should've tried a little harder to shut down that punk.

Yep. Sad that you remember the name of the chick from Heart, but not the guy from Loverboy (Mike Reno, I think)...
