what are the best sites for each different region?

I've recently enabled one of my DVD players to become multi regional.

Could you kind folks help me out and recommend some good web sites (based in the US (imported) or otherwise) that would be good to check out for limited editions/box sets etc that are not available here in the US.

I check play.com and ezydvd, but want to try and broaden my selction a little.

Thanks!

dvdfromkorea.com for korean discs
dddhouse.com or buyoyo.com for HK
cdjapan.co.jp amazon.co.jp or yesasia.com for japan (last one for HK and korean too).
amazon.co.uk for R2 UK

...other than that, i don't know. there's bound to be a thread around here already.

Since you mentioned "limited" and "region free" try these guys ... http://www.theimportforums.com/

Here's their list of etailers. Should keep you busy for months. http://www.theimportforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=5974

Be forewarned however - you'll need to register in order to view the list.

"Best" is subjective but there is a sticky list of etailers entitled "International Listing of E-tailers/Reviews/Forums & Resources"

Here's a nice link also: www.sexgoremutants.co.uk/frame1
On the left side you'll see the link 'DVD supliers'. I found many interesting sites there.

I second these guys -- excellent service and good prices for things that are very difficult to find elsewhere. Especially for European releases, it's very convenient (even with the price difference) picking up from this one site vs. trying to do mental translation on several different language sites (Danish, Swedish, etc) looking for releases (and much cheaper for shipping).

My primary site for any Asian release is us.yesasia.com/assocred.asp?CP9E8RT8+ -- good deals, lots of special offers (buy 3 get one free, $5 for $50 purchase, etc). Generally they'll carry multiple releases of most films - HK, Japan, Korea, etc (and clearly label them as such). I always head here first for Asian releases, then if I have issues with customs (won't ship certain items to the US), etc. I'll check out dvdsfromkorea and other sites.

cdjapan.co.jp is pretty good, but you can often find the same dvd for about the same price plus free shipping (normally free shipping for all orders over $50) at yesasia -- cdjapan's prices are pretty high.

edit - not sure if that's just dvdtalk's automatic vendor link for yesasia -- all i did was type in the name.com.
