Looney Tunes Golden Collection volume 5 - Most of the shorts revealed + Cover art

If you think the cover couldnt get any worse

http://forums.goldenagecartoons.com/...achmentid=2264

think again.

Here is the list of shorts that have been figured out

Senorella and the Glass Huarache.
The Abominable Snow Rabbit
Paying the Piper
Scrap Happy Daffy
A Pest In the House
Goldimouse and the Three Cats
The Turn-Tale Wolf
Buccaneer Bunny
A Star Is Bored
Little Red Rodent Hood
The Super Snooper
The Stupor Salesman
Hollywood Daffy
The Old Grey Hare
Red Riding Hoodwinked
The Wacky Wabbit
Bacall To Arms
Little Red Walking Hood
Prehistoric Porky
Patient Porky
The Daffy Doc
Porky's Preview
Milk and Money
Bugs Bonnets

Only 36 to go.

A preview appeared on another dvd set showing clips from LTGCv5 and from there, as they say, the rest is history.

Here is the entire thread.

http://forums.goldenagecartoons.com/...3&page=1&pp=10

It is around page 6 that the titles were started getting named.

This thread could have used a more descriptive thread title. I wasn't sure what it was about until I clicked on it, and it won't be very searchable.

That cover art is butt ugly. It looks like a Public Domain release.

I think it's okay. Plus it's a fuzzy low-res screencap. I'm sure it'll look much better. And I'm not buying it for the cover art anyway.

Ya, not only did you have to click into the thread to see what it was about, you also had to click the link in the thread to see the cover and title of the DVD in question, and I don't give a shit about this release - waste of time.

I didn't have a bit of trouble knowing what the thread was about. But then again, I have been monitoring that GAC thread. Plus I am a Looney Tunes junkie and have been anxiously awaiting the list of cartoons.

Neither me nor my dog knew what the hell your thread title meant, and I own the existing four volumes of LTGC.

Abbreviated thread titles are frowned upon here.

Are there any moderators who can edit the thread title? I tried but when the title is edited it can only be viewed that way when you're in the thread and not on the main board.

As far as the cover art...at least bugs, daffy, and porky aren't in drag (again).

And I won't be happy till "Transylvania 6-5000" is on DVD.

they are listing this now on TVshowsonDVD.com. The cover art there has much better animation than the link at top of this thread

He has been overlooked once more..

Disc 1 Bugs/Daffy
Disc 2 Fairy Tales
Disc 3 Robert Clampett
Disc 4 Porky Pig and more classics

So Foghorn could have a few shorts on disc 4 or 3 as i think Clampett did a few of Foghorns shorts, im hoping so anyway

Street Date: October 30th

Hey! This thread is not about LesbianTransgenderedGayCouples at all! What a misleading title!!

Anyway, I guess I will get this one just to be a completist, but I would like more Foghorn Leghorn as well and more Chuck Jones era classics.

I am actually pretty excited now. Extremely happy about the Bob Clampett disc. Does having a "Fairy Tale" disc give hope for having Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarfs finally?!?!?! I guess it will have to be volume 6 for a Robert McKimson disc with some Foghorn on it.

That doesn't look like the Looney Tunes characters from ANY era. Really, really bad art.

I'm hoping for 'Hush My Mouse' with Sniffles and three cats: Art, Filligan, and Edward G. Robincat.
