This is one of those films, like Playtime, The Wild Bunch, and 2001, that must be seen in 70mm. I think McCabe and Mrs. Miller was shot in 70mm; that would be wondrous to see.

Yeah between LoA, Evil Dead 2 and Godfathers being played, I'm going to be spending a lot of time in Silver Spring this summer.

imdb doesnt denote 'McCabe' was filmed in 70mm but of course imdb aren't always 100% accurate either.

I think I remember reading that it was in David Cook's A History of Narrative Film, but I might be mistaken.

Great! I've been meaning to check out a flick there since I moved to N. Virginia 6 months ago. This will be ideal.

Also, my heart skipped a beat when I saw that they will be showing BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA in August! Watching that and then The Big Lebowski back to back on 8/18 is just about the best double feature I could hope for.

Of the films Wendersfan named: Playtime, The Wild Bunch, and 2001, and McCabe and Mrs. Miller

Only Playtime and 2001 were filmed in 70mm. The others were 35mm
