Well...I would trust Fletch to find things quicker than Axel, but i'd trust Axel more in a firefight.

Oh...and if a banana in the tailpipe was needed...

Yeah, Fletch was an investigative reporter, a bit of a bumbler, and much funnier. Axel was an actual police detective, so he wins.

Eh, it is not a great movie by any means, but it does have quite a few funny parts, and that is fine by me. I enjoy it for what it is.

Axel. They were both funny as hell, but Axel did some real police work and knew his shit. Fletch just seemed to be in the right places at the right times.

Blasphemy, i love this movie, its no Fletch but still funny and entertaining.
