That definitely looks like placeholder artwork. I believe if dvd artwork that god-awful were actually released the universe would likely implode.

Cover looks like temporary artwork just to show people what they're buying. The quote is way too big and doesn't even give a source as to who said it.

The real (at least until they decide to revise it) artwork can be found here.

I thought it was a good movie. Depending on the features, I might buy it on opening day, otherwise I can wait until its previously viewed.

As it has been said: it's only temporary... Now, it might still be considered terrible once the official one is released.

if you check out dvdactive.com, they have some slightly different artwork...but more tasteful nonetheless.

I will most def. be picking this one up (As a blind buy cause I don't go to the theaters as many people know & I just buy thre DVDs). I say just knock Shia off the cover and put a big picture of David Morse on there!

I'd buy this once it hits $10. So, basically, 2 weeks after it hits shelves the way pricing works these days. I thought it was enjoyable enough to warrant a purchase. It reminded me of a longer episode of something along the lines of "Hitchcock Presents" or an X-Files episode.

hitchcock presents? have you ever seen 'rear window'? the premise is a complete rip-off and i can't believe this wasn't considered a remake.

Thank you for bringing this shocking news to our attention. Nobody has ever made that accusation against this film before.

I was listening to the commentary earlier and the director makes reference that they were recording both an audio AND video commentary. I assume this is an exclusive for HD DVD and Blu-Ray but I hadn't read about it before and if it's not on there, is an unrated version on the way at some point?

Probably will rent this when it comes out. Reminds me less of Rear Window and more of a teenage Body Double (without the porno and giant drill of course).

Watching the film itself, unless you're being picky, you really don't think about Rear Window. At least I didn't.

Yes, and I know it's a blatant rip-off. That's probably (and obviously) exactly why it feels Hitchcockian to me.

would be cool of somebody could post a picture of the lenticular cover.
perhaps someone who owns it and does not care about slipcovers could sell theirs to me or trade it for another dvd!
for me paramount has turned to be one of my least favorite companies, simply because they are the stingiest when it comes to slipcovers!!
sometimes not even their 2 disc special editions have one!

used camera phone so not too good...pics don't do justice but the binoculars look very 3-D. not so much changie lenticular, but more just 3-D coolness.

I hate missing lenticular artwork. It looks good too in those pictures. Maybe I will try for an exchange.

Thanks for the heads-up about the Target slipcover. I picked mine up. It's not the best use of the technology... but still.
