I hate to be the first one to mention this in thread #2 - but similarly to last year, I've noticed some price increases. It was more obvious this year to me personally, because the 6 animEgo titles that I was holding off specifically for this sale went up from slightly under $20 (18 range) to $22 for each individual title. I think I'll be passing this year.

edit*** Well, I just went back and reread DDD thread #1 (which I didn't before posting) - whoah!! I guess that price hike was rampant!! Though, some did come down:

Those jerks at Deepdiscountdvd.com just dropped their price of "The Twilight Zone: The Complete Series" from 200.99 to 169.99, and Beavis and Butthead: Volumes 2, 3 from 25.xx to 21.xx.

This madness must stop.

Gotta toss in my opinion. Yes, some stuff went up, some went down as well. Battlestar Galactica (2.0/2.5 pack) dropped from 54.xx to 51.xx the night before the sale. I would think that's a fairly popular title.

Again, decent price on some items, and those that are cheaper elsewhere... then BUY elsewhere. It's as simple as that. I applaud deep discount for still doing the sale (many feared it would cut down to 1 a year, etc.).
