Alexander / Alexander Director's Cut?
I am quite a fan of "Alexander", I haven't checked out the director's cut.
Is it worth it......? What are your thoughts?
Is there substantially new ADDED material, or removed material?

Basically, in the Director's Cut, Alexander is straight. In the original cut, he has gay lovers and the story rings true. The Director's Cut is shorter than the theatrical version and it was made for Joe Six-Pack to gaze on Ms. Jolie's and Ms. Dawson's gazongas without any distraction from storyline, historical accuracy or pesky man-to-man sex.

Don't forget the director's "Final Cut", which is Stone's third and apparently final version of the film.

At the very least, it restores the small character moments that helped to flesh out the relationship between Alexander and Hephaistion, putting their man-love into a proper historical and dramatic context, and also gives more screen time to some of the lesser developed characters. However, on balance I still feel that the original theatrical cut is the best and most effective telling of this story.
