Very first and very last DVD listed in your collection (alpha)?
So alphabetically, what is the very first DVD in your collection and the very last?
1. "3 Extremes" / "12 Monkeys" (one catalog shows one, one shows the other, I prefer 3 to go first even though all numbers should be listed as if spelled out)
799. "Zombi 2" (25th Anniversary Edition)
It would be interesting to see how many have the same first and last given the similar collections here.

This might seem a bit anal and such, but nonetheless, alphabetization and filing rules (see Chicago Manual of Style if you don't believe me) state unambiguously that titles beginning with numbers should be filed as if the number is spelled out (thus, 12 Monkeys goes into the Ts, and so on).
That said, I might as well not be a total snob and at least answer your question...
About a Boy <---> You've Got Mail (neither of which, unfortunately, is a DVD that I'm hugely proud of listing -- The Accused <---> Young Mr. Lincoln would've been much better).

I have three (actually four...I'll explain) separate areas for my DVD collections. I have my lone HD-DVD (combo), Children of Men, by itself.
My TV box sets range from 24: Season 1 to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Season 1.
My digipacks/boxes/snapper cases range from Aliens to X-Men.
Keepcase DVD's range from 25th Hour to Year of the Dragon.

After The Sunset
Young Guns
I would guess that there is about 350 total.
I have my TV sets on another rack, so they don't count in the alpha list.
And I put numbers in alpha as if they were spelled.
