I love his older movies form the late 70s/early 80s but so some of the DVDs are FS only

I'd love to see Cannonball Run II, Hooper, Stroker's Ace among others get the treatment they need

I doubt it. I think it would have happened already with the Warner Bros. Triple Feature that was released of Hooper/Sharky's Machine/Stroker Ace. All those were just the same FS dvds that were released before.

The Longest Yard along with Smokey and the Bandit did get SE treatments. I guess those two are his most popular.

Deliverance is a pretty popular Reynolds film (with a Best Picture nod to its credit as well). Definitely my favorite of his. In dire need of an SE. Are you listening, Warner?

In the chat from February of this year, they mentioned that a SE of Deliverance is coming. It's even getting released in HD editions.

I forgot about that one. MGM released "White Lightning" and "Gator" in FS, didn't they?

Yeah; I made the mistake of buying the latter.

Would love to see Hooper, Semi-Tough, Sharky's Machine, W. W. and the Dixie Dance Kings, all released as proper widescreen releases.

Just read that Sharky's Machine is going to be remade w/Mark Wahlberg in 2008. That could lead to a WS release of the original, we'll see.
