Fry's Ads 5/18: 1 Day Anniversary Sale!

Here's the entertainment software listings from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Houston (HOU), Chicago (IL), Las Vegas (LV), Los Angeles/Orange County (LA), Sacramento (SAC) and San Jose/Silicon Valley (SJ) Fry's Ad(s). These prices are valid only for the dates listed in the subject line.

The items listed below are as they appear in the Fry's B&M Ads. If an item is listed as "SJ only", for example, it could still be on sale at other locations (i.e. - Austin, San Diego, AZ, GA, IN, OR, WA), but it only appeared in the SJ ad. However, since these ads are not available online, I cannot confirm them.

If anyone knows of a website to view any further ads, please let me know.

Does DDR on the 360 come with the dance pad for that price? IF so, it's quite a deal...

The Blu-Ray and HD-DVD specials, the PS3 deals, and the Bond sets are also in the San Diego ad today. The rest of the stuff was probably there, but I don't recall.

Thanks for the posts! I'm heading by after work. I still hope they have Etrian Odyssey for $24.99 from the Monday ad. Fry's doesn't get new release games until Thursday so I was puzzled why it was in their Monday/Tuesday ad and hasn't been on the later in the week ads.

Great price on the HDDVDs. Too bad I own most of them. At that price I'll blind buy Penguins and might as well pick up Swordfish just for the Halle Berry boob shoot in HD

I grabbed some Blu-Ray's here in Austin. They didn't ring up the third one - isn't that weird?

Fry's is a homegrown system and they probably couln't handle the complexity of buy one get one free. Or just a confused cashier. Either way its funny.

Fry's in Burbank was packed, and this was a little before lunchtime, when I figured it wouldn't be too crowded. Line was all the way to the back of the store.

Picked up some HD-DVDs (March of Penguins, Last Samurai, Goodfellas) and was tempted to pick up some 19.99 Blurays, but that sale goes on until the 22nd on the fliers they had posted.

Picked up a Garmin Nuvi 650 for $450, which they also have online.

The "Fry's" in San Diego had "King of the Hill" for $10.99, picked up Seasons 1 - 6.

Picked up some HD-DVD's at lunch (Troy & Last Samurai).

The lines were the longest I have ever seen!! Good thing they had about 50 cash registers running.

It appears that the ad you posted is from last year (May 2006). It looked a little funny when I saw some of the high prices for the PC components.

Thanks anyway though! I'm sure it'll be posted early tomorrow.

Same with the one in San Jose...was pleasantly surprised by this fact when I hit the store earlier today (the line was long, but fast...they had a full row of checkers working).

$10.99 for each season of KOTH puts some Black Friday prices to shame. Even amazon, with 55% off season 1, has it priced at 13.49, and S2 is 50% off, so amazon has it at $24.99!! Yesiree, indeedy, I was a happy camper.

Ha! I guess I didn't check closely enough!

Well, for those of you with a time machine who want to go back 1 year to buy more expensive electronics -- you're set!
