Good cliffhanging finale, maybe a bit too dramatic/depressing toward the end.

Judith Light in the female version of "Oz" cracks me up. I loved Kristin Chenowith in her guest appearance.

at Willy's memories montage of Mark.

I was wondering if there was a thread for this. A shame this show doesn't get more love around here.

The best part of this episode was the Mark/Willamina stuff. "You didn't just hug me, did you?"

Mark/Willie are a great pair. Took this long for an excuse to have Vanessa sing and it was worth it. The woman has a gorgeous voice. Willie and Bradford as a couple are just ewww though.

Amanda as Bradford's possible love child? This could get juicy.

I was a little surprised how dark it was. And they still have not visited the danger the dad faces in Mexico. Loved Beckie Newton as usual:

"You want to kiss me, don't you?"

Really one of the better shows on right now, but it gets no attention here at all.

I had to watch it again to see her expression. Nice job by Vanessa! That was a great part, along with the flashbacks. She is so gorgeous.

I am shocked at the ending, though. I sure hope it isn't what they made it look like. Talk about dark... Although, this show seems much too light-hearted to do something like that, so I imagine it will turn out okay.

Yeah, it's sad to see that Desperate Housewives gets more attention here.

Anyways, this was a great finale. This show is like the Office - TONS of funny lines.

Yeah, I knew there was something odd about the way they shot her. Typical character for this show.

Vanessa has so many facial expressions. They say it all. It's so funny.

I agree that this show doesn't get enough attention on this board. It's just not very flashy I suppose.

Interesting. Here in Chicago a couple months ago they were talking about U B on the radio and they mentioned how well this show is doing. However, compared to the earlier overseas versions not that great yet. They did point out that in other countries U B really is ugly. Leave it to America to have an ugly betty that is actually fairly good looking off the show.

I can't believe how many cliffhangers they threw into this season finale, just craziness.

So basically if you have braces and wear glasses, you're ugly.

Okay then.

Although, I do find it interesting that it appears that the American version is the only one to make the Betty character a non-majority ethnicity.

Couldn't they find an ugly actress to play the part?

I hope the guy who played Santos isn't leaving because of Drive

The scene with Amanda and Christina in the secret room was great/

Good to see Kristin Chenowith

That had to have been the reason for what happened to him, since these things are filmed months in advance. Meaning there was no way to know that Drive would be gone instantly. Kevin Alejandro was a major character on that show and probably couldn't do both at the same time. However with Drive gone, perhaps Ugly Betty's writers will bring him back, only badly injured rather than the implication that he's dead.

Just imagine, Daniel was doing it with his half sister earlier this season. I'm sure Amanda will feel much better now about the relationship not working out.

I thought killing him was just wrong. It didn't fit with the tone of the show.

even though this comment is more geared toward's the season finale of 'Scrubs' - the casual - visual nod to Ugly Betty was great.
