Dolores O'Riordan - Are You Listening
I just bought this album as I loved the Cranberries back in the day. I actually didn't even know about the album until about a week ago. I have to say I think it's a awesome album. I think almost every track is great, and it's definitely better than the last Cranberries album. Check it out if you get a chance.

Ordered it a few days ago. The first single is excellent and I've heard nothing but good things about the rest of the CD.
If you want to listen to the single, Ordinary Day, it's right here:

I was surprised to see this album in this weeks Best Buy ad. Between this and Chantal Kreviazuk's new album also surprising me last week, I'm definitely finding that I'm not following the music scene as closely anymore.
The Cranberries are one of my all time favorite groups, and I love Dolores. The Live in Paris video entrances me with her awkward dancing and gyrations, totally fitting with her vocal style.

She'll be performing on Leno this Thursday.
I don't feel like starting a thread, maybe someone else here will, but Paula Cole has a new release coming in June.
The first single is terrific and I've heard good things about the entire album.
Johnette Napolitano (Concrete Blonde) and Juliana Hatfield (an EP) also have new releases at the end of May.
Also, for those who still like videos, here is the video for "Ordinary Day."

I previewed some of the tracks on iTunes and it seems like some of them really sound too heavy for her - kinda like she sounds like Avril a bit with the hard-edged guitar sounds behind her, which is a HUGE mistake. Her voice goes better with lighter fare where it has more of an opportunity to stand out and not be distracted by her backing music.
