05/10/07 - Exciting New My Name is Earl Plus! Shocking Season 2 Finalé - The Trial

As crazy as it all was, it also kind of made me realize something: sometimes happiness is about giving up something precious to get something better. And it made me wonder, would I do the same? What would I sacrifice to be loved? Not my balls. - Earl J. Hickey

Summary:
In the season finale, Joy's future lays in the hands of the law as her trial finally arrives.

It's been up and down this season (especially comparing it to season one). I hope the finale brings it up a notch.

This I think was a great ending although it was obvious it was gonna happen to me. Anything that gets marlee matlin involved more is great. Also fantastic music collection again I have the first soundtrack, and hope there is another.

The scene when Earl first goes to check up on Crabman and the kids was similar to the drug deal scene in Boogie Nights

That just made me fall out of my seat laughing! Especially after we saw her learning that in spanish last week in the trunk.

Did anyone catch the commerical advertising the new season of Dog during the show? Way to cross-promote NBC!

Anyone know what the asian woman was saying in the translation scene? Once again Catalina was talking directly to the audience thanking them for watching and saying something along the lines of "Thank you for watching the show, we're going to miss you this summer. Earl probably thinks I'm saying something bad about Joy."

I felt sooo bad for Earl.
Randy's gonna be so lost now. Good luck Catalina.

The "Oh Jasquita" line had me rolling.

Didn't catch the Boogie Nights reference, but I see it now. Well done.

What madcougar wrote is what I remember Catilina saying.

"Thank you for watching the show, we're going to miss you this summer. Earl probably thinks I'm saying something bad about Joy."

^ Speaking of these kind of "easter eggs" in the show, what happened to the HD ones?
