The Office "Beach Games" 05/10/07

Spoiler:
Michael is being considered for a position in corporate, but also plans a day of "Survivor" like competitions while the office workers visit Lake Scranton. Pam is not asked to join in on any of the competitions and is forced to sit and watch Jim and Karen have fun.

So
Spoiler:
instead of recommending someone based on performance or other applicable merits, Michael conducts a series of meaningless and arbitrary "tests" to judge a worthy replacement.

Oh, that zany Michael Scott!

Given the spoiler mentions Karen, I hope shes featured alot. Such a beauty, especially from behind

I hope Creed comes out more, it seems theyre bringing him out and reducing shithead BJ. ALways a plus!

Not to burst your bubble but I'm from Scranton and sadly Lake Scranton isn't anything like that. There isn't any type of picnic or sitting area around it. There is a 3.5 mile paved track around it for walking or running but that is about it.

Although most of the places mentioned on the show are real places in Scranton (except for Hooters and that coffee shop Pam and Roy went to).

great episode, loved andy falling into the lake, Jim making Karen step into the lake, and dwight falling on the coals. I LOVED the pam stuff. seeing her go across the coals and speaking up. I loved her speech to Jim, it was perfectly written. I hate waiting a week for this show.

Did anything else happen after Micheal Said ".but I'm still looking for someone with a sales background, my tivo cut off and then when it started recording scrubs i scene most of them singing on the bus.

heres some maybe spoilers for the finale

They just had to tease us with Pam saying that she was wearing a two piece and then not show her in it. Bastards!

Pam's speech was awesome. I've been waiting all season for her to do something like that. Jenna nailed it.

Jim was really being an asshat in regards to his treatment of Karen tonight during the egg race. It's one thing to make them think they need to step over a hole, but entirely another to make them go into the water.

"Voldemort." "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named." "Voldemort, Voldemort, Voldemort."

The two singing scenes reminded me of Almost Famous with Tiny Dancer and Planes, Trains and Automobiles with 3 Coins in a Fountain segueing into The Flintstones.

Angela getting her revenge on Andy was priceless especially with Andy being the background of Michael's talking head and he identifying himself as with Dunder Mifllin and the spotlight going away from him.

Stanley trying to get involved and giving up had me cracking up as well as Creed and the fish.

Great episode!

My tivo cut off also...Anyone?

And Pam telling Jim she missed her best friend reminds me how much I miss them together. It was fun, and I miss their interaction.

Andy floating down the lake in a sumo wrestler costume. Priceless.

That was the end of the episode. The tag at the end was everyone singing The Flintstones theme song with Michael singing in falsetto.

See for me this season has been a little soft and more annoying for me, and sort of dreaded the long episode, but since I was gonna watch scrubs anyways and it ended up being real good very funny.

Also I could see Micheal getting the job, and Jim becoming regional manager for two reasons that make since. Maybe Carell needs some time off next season so this would give him an excuse to be a smaller part of the show for awhile and then he gets fired and can come back. As far as Jim this would give another good obstacle for pam, and Karen gets jealous and then he haves no one again.
