Great news!

I wonder if he'll do the whole monologue in his head.

That would suck for the studio audience.

At least they got someone as equally horrible as the rest of their current cast.

Mandy Moore should host sometime, too.

I like him. Probably there to promote the Ex, which does not have good buzz at all.

Wow, I guess Braff is love him or hate him. I love him. Frankly, I think it's hard to actually make SNL worse, so as long as he manages to avoid that, I'm looking forward to it.

BTW, the musical guest actually could be Mandy, she had an album come out recently.

I caught a little bit of it.

I found it funny, that alot of different cast members said that during their tenure, critics would say the show is dead, not funny, terrible, etc.

A few years later, those same critics are the ones that say those were the good ol days.

Watching the special last night I couldn't help but be constantly reminded of how terrible the show is now. I wish there was even one cast member now who has the talent level that just about any of the cast members from about 94-00 had.

Oh, and I miss Phil Hartman.

Zach Braff is great on Scrubs no Question but weather or not he will be funny as a host, will have to wait and see.
Of course SNL is awful already so he indeed couldn't make it any worse. I hope Donald Faison make an appearance because him teamed with Braff on anything is hilarous, Anyone remember the JKimmel Live! ep they were on?

I Agree,
I cought most of the show last night and i was just thinking the same thing while watching the show. I don't like any of the current SNL cast members, the 90's did most Def. have the best Cast.
I had a tear in my eye watching classic Phil Hartman-We still miss you!

You may want to wait a few days before saying that - Molly Shannon is hosting this week.

That's the way it always is. Ten years from now, people will be talking about the genius of Will Forte. Yes, I said it!

Very underwhelming.

Even as a Scrubs fan, I have no desire to see him host any episode of SNL let alone a season finale.

Walken, Goodman, Martin, or any other classic SNL hosting old timer would have been MUCH more welcome.

The super-secret spoiler tagging made me think it was going to be something huge, like Alec Baldwin.
