House seasons 1 & 2 together for only $52.49 at Amazon.com

You must use this link for the deal. If you go to Amazon's website and look up season 1 or season 2, the "buy both" deal down the page is for $85.98. Adding them individually to your cart and hoping for the discount at checkout doesn't work either.

The e-mail notice from Amazon said it's a pre-order for May 8 with a retail of $69.98, so it could be a price drop. Both season sets have an outer sticker picturing the season 1 & 2 boxes with the words "TV Marathon 2-Pack Great Value!"

it's not a price drop. it's just a bundle from Universal. Other titles like this are Vegas season 1 and 2, Battlestar Galactica 2.0 and 2.5 and I think The Office 1 and 2.

Found the listings for Office 1 & 2 and Battlestar 2.0 and 2.5. Those are very lukewarm deals, only a few bucks cheaper than buying the respective seasons individually.

House, on the other hand, is a great deal. It's a savings of about $40.

I'd love to own these sets, but I can't make myself buy the first season because its non-anamorphic.

I'm not sure how great of a deal this is. It comes out to $26ish a season, and I'm almost postive I got my first season for 19.99 at target last year when they had a sale, I know I wouldn't pay much more than that (maybe a few dollars), since I had never seen the show at the time, so if you look you can find them cheaper. I'm sure season 2 will go down like 1 did with 3 coming out eventually.
