Supernatural -- "Folsom Prison Blues" -- 04/26/07

"Folsom Prison Blues"
Spoiler:
After hearing about a ghost that has been killing off inmates one by one, Sam and Dean decide the best way to investigate this spirit is from the inside and allow them to be thrown into the state penitentiary. However, after FBI agent Henricksen shows up to take over their case, getting out of prison becomes a bigger challenge than finding the spirit.

So there's about a 100% chance we'll either hear Johnny Cash music or get a reference in dialogue.

Can't wait!

OK episode, though a bit run-of-the-mill. However, the ghost was very well-done, especially the eyes.

Best line: "I call this 'Blue Steel'"

For me, Best line: "They're just donuts. They're not love."

I thought it was a pretty good episode. Dean was great as usual and Sam kept his annoyance to a minimum. In fact Sam's bitching about how stupid this plan was for most of the episode echoed my thoughts, except I didn't know how the hell they were going to get out.

I was minorly annoyed with the 'trick' ending. One because it was obvious but also because no lawyer is that stupid. Not saying anything to the cops is one thing but giving false info is a whole other ballpark.

Did anyone else think the lawyer was also part of the plan? When she went to get into the car, she looked like she was 'cheshire cat' smiling at someone in the car.

I think she was just smiling to herself because she threw the cops off their track. If she was in on it with Sam and Dean they wouldn't have had the "will she talk" conversation at the cemetery.
