I was wondering about something.

When Martha Stewart was on she showed Conan how to make a mixed drink. They were both talking a lot at the same time so I couldn't get the name of the drink. If anyone caught it I'm curious to know.

Anyways, they started drinking them and drinking them later in the show too. For some reason I was thinking they weren't allowed to do that on talk shows. I remember alcohol being involved on Jay Leno's show and he was talking about how it was against the rules to mix it up and drink it. I also remember Jimmy Kimmel having beers on his show before, then having to stop.

I don't know perhaps the rules changed or perhaps Conan just wanted to get hammered with Martha Stewart!

Wouldn't be the first time. Last christmas i think it was he had Martha on and he was drinking egg nog with alot of Alcohol in it.
Sadly Conan is starting to run its course on me, after what about 8 years (nine if you count the shaky first, then left for awhile) of watching O'Brien i actually turned the channel.
I watch Craig Ferguson live now & record Mr. O'Brien.

He's still funny and can't wait ti'll he goes to SF next week. When he was in Chic town he was fricken hilarous.

I think he's just not as funny lately because his sitcom, Andy Barker P.I. failed to gain a audience.

The name of the drink was "Ruined by Russia".

At least that is what Martha called it. A Google search on that name doesn't bring up much.

I remember her st. paddy's apperance, where she was passing Guiness off as coffee since "It looks the same." I chuckled. Jameson and OJ .

Did anyone watch today?
Garry Shandling was on Today to promote ' Not The best of the Larry Sanders show' DVD (I still want complete seasons but i picked it up anyway) & I thought he was Quite good.
His face looked alittle botoxed but other than that he was Quite funny and i liked the part where he said can we just bumb the next guest I agreed with him because the 2nd guest was Adam Brody from the OC, coming to promote some movie.
He looked Quite Uncomfortable between the two.

Also Conan was on Leno & good lord did he look different. He actually looked like a normal human who actually looks like the kind of man that could have a wife and kids.
He looks pretty good!

yeah I saw part of that and I agree he looked better with jay's lighting. He had more color and looked less blue and cold.

He was also very funny as a guest. I loved him making fun of Jay's voice and mannerisms.

Actually she called it a "Ruin Me Russian" - there are a few links that come back in Google on it (although some are just people discussing this appearance on Conan).
