Since I'm Russian my eye of course caught the title in Cyrillic. Wow, Mike you wrote it in original, that impresses me a lot 'cos I don't come across it a lot. Hope it was worth your friday night, but I personally didn't like it
As for me, I've been watching the rest of Masters of Horror 1st season for the whole week.

I worked intelligence in Berlin from '87 to '91, hence the mad Cyrillic skillz. It was lightly entertaining, but nothing special, true. I'm looking around for a copy of Сталкер to see if it lives up to it's reputation.

You've chosen the most interesting period to be in Berlin (well, one of them) especially being in intelligence And Сталкер is available on amazon by Kino Video, titled Stalker: a Film by Andrei Tarkovsky, which sounds pretty the same as in Russian, but is not an exact translation. Wonder why it's not on Criterion yet. I have to warn you it's not pure entertainment. I think if you saw something else by Tarkovsky you might get the idea, besides I mentioned Criterion, that may also ring a bell.
P.S. Sorry for an off-topic post, everyone.
