Movies with extremely unrealistic plots
For some reason this came up as movie of the day on IMDB and I was reading the plot summary.
George Kuffs just lost his job, and his girlfriend who is still in college is pregnant. Since he can't see how he can support her, he thinks she is better off without him. So he visits his elder brother, Brad, to squeeze him for a loan so he can go to Brazil where there's a gold-rush going on. Unfortunately Brad is killed and George is suddenly the owner of Brad's "patrol special" district.

This one is just sooo unrealistic...too bad the movie is so real.
In the year 3000, man is no match for the Psychlo's, a greedy, manipulative race of aliens on a quest for ultimate profit. Led by the seductive and powerful Terl, the Psychlo's are stripping Earth clean of its natural resources, using the broken remnants of humanity as slaves. What is left of the human race has descended into a near primitive state, believing the invaders to be demons and technology to be evil. After humanity has all but given up any hope of freeing themselves from alien oppression, a young man named Tyler decides to leave his desolate home high in the Rocky Mountains to discover the truth, whereupon he is captured and enslaved. It is then that he decides to fight back, leading his fellow man in one final struggle for freedom.
I still laugh when I read this one.
Johnathan Cabot is a champion gymnast. In the tiny, yet savage, country of Parmisan, there is a perfect spot for a "Star Wars" site. For the US to get this site, they must compete in the brutal "Game". The government calls on Cabot, the son of a former operative, to win the game. Cabot must combine his gymnastics skills of the west with fighting secrets of the east and form GYMKATA!

(1.)Weird yummy goo erupts from the earth and is discovered by a couple of miners. They taste it and decide to market it because it tastes so good. The American public literally eats up the new dessert sensation now known as the Stuff but, unfortunately, it takes over the brains of those who eat it, turning them into zombie-like creatures. It is up to ex-FBI agent David Rutherford and a kid named Jason to stop the spread of the mind-devouring dessert
_and:
(2.)Industrial spy and former FBI agent David 'Mo' Rutherford is hired by executives of the ice-cream industry to disclose the recipe of the phenomenally successful marshmallow- and yogurt-like desert called the Stuff. Somehow, its consumers become addicted in the product, and competitors want the formula. With the support of Nicole, the the designer of the Stuff's advertising campaign; and a boy named Jason, who refused to eat it after his family became consumed, Mo tries to prove that the Stuff is a malevolent, possibly sentient, natural substance that is trying to take over the minds of the population of Earth.

One day, Jack Martin dicovers a dead canary and decides to give the bird a proper buriel. After beginning to dig the hole however, he finds himself unable to stop. Jack digs and digs and digs despite the wishes of his friends and family. He digs despite the warnings of the police. One day the media gets involved and once the world hear's of his digging, they start to wonder: Why is Jack digging? What Jack doesn't know is that he is digging toward a reptile base deep within the earth's crust, where a team of reptiles who are currently manipulating the shadow govenrment are plotting the detonation of nuclear devices underneath the ocean floor to give rise to a tsunami and flood the earth. When Jack hears of the reptile plan through echo, he enlists the aid of his digging comrades; a mole person named Chas, an overgrown earthworm named Tingo and of course his internet chat buddy he communicates with through satellite phone. The team then scuba into the ocean to disarm the nukes which are counting down, but they then get eaten by a whale and gruesomly get digested by the whale's stomach acids, then the nukes are detonated and the earth is destroyed and the reptiles win.
