Top 25 Cinematic Moments

http://www.gamespy.com/articles/771/771937p1.html

This is kinda cool... maybe a bit too many recent cinematic trailers for unreleased games, but some cool footage in there nonetheless.

Eh, this list needs some Metal Gear Solid 3. Some of the best cinemas I've seen come from the last 40 minutes of that game.

While a few moments on there stand out, I think this list needs a LOT more. I must admit though, I loved the "Mad World" trailer.

Lot's of stuff in there from Blizzard. They have made some of the best cinematics ever. Would've like'd to see Diablo II make the list.

Good to see that the Curse of Monkey Island intro was on there. That was great. They needed something from The Neverhood, though.

That Star Wars Final Fantasy XII opening was awesome, I only wish it was an actual full movie instead of a video game as I don't have the time necessary to play through an FF game to see what looks like a very cool story.

It was like if Star Wars and Lord of the Rings had babies.

Ignoring the cheesy acting and horrible animatronic faces, this was one of the most powerful cinematic gaming moments in my life.

Now this is cinematic.

Easily the best FMV game ever.

You're going to have to fill me in on that one. I didn't last 30 seconds before I shut that wailing off.

Blargh.. too much prerendered crap and trailers. I'm far more a fan of cinematics that are played out as part of the game itself. And I'm going to disagree with taffer above and state that in Ocarina of Time, the most cinematic moment in that game (and probably the all-time best) is the drawing of the Master Sword.

Nice list of "Top 25 Trailers"...

I don't think Gamespy knows what "cinematic" means...

To be fair, only 5 of them are trailers... and I gotta admit, the Gears of War Mad World trailer was pretty awesome.

I remember seeing that trailer in the theaters and being blown away. Had no idea Fincher directed it either. The epitome of what a video game trailer should be.
